In July 2018, Constant Contact canceled our account.
In the letter from their legal team, Constant Contact noted:
“This message is being sent to inform you that your Constant Contact account with the username “jguandolo” has been canceled pursuant to Constant Contact’s Prohibited Content and Commerce Statement.
“Constant Contact has received third party complaints about the email campaigns that you are sending through your Constant Contact account. Our Prohibited Content and Commerce Statement states that, in an effort to maintain the highest levels of email delivery and IP reputation, as well as to adhere to various state, federal, and international laws, we prohibit the use of our websites or any of our products or services by any person or organization that provides or posts any material that is grossly offensive, including blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred or excessive profanity or that is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing or otherwise objectionable.”
After constant contact canceled the account, UTT hired MailChimp to be the distribution portal for UTT newsletters. On January 20, 2019 Mailchimp canceled UTT’s service with the short explanation, “Our automated abuse-prevention system, Omnivore, has detected an action or content in your account that may be in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.” We attempted several times to clarify, but Mailchimp refused to provide any details.
So, UTT looked at dozens of other online email distribution companies, but UTT was turned down again and again.
One company, ActiveCampaign refused service to UTT because, according to them, something on our website is “unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or fraudulent.”
UTT conducted a review of its website and newsletters/articles for the previous six months and did not find anything that fit the above description. When the ActiveCampaign representative was asked to specifically point to something violating ActiveCampaign’s policy, there was no response.
UTT continues to publicly make this offer: if anyone can demonstrate that anything UTT publishes or teaches about sharia, its foundation and authority in Islam or what it says, or about the Muslim Brotherhood’s jihadi Movement that is untrue, we will stop presenting and publishing it and give the person bringing it to our attention $1000 cash.
After over 3 years of offering this, we have no takers.
UTT has now established its own inherent email delivery vehicle through UnderstandingtheThreat.com.
What UTT just experienced is indicative of the disrespect for the law and the unalienable rights all humans possess these companies have for those of us speaking truth to defend liberty.
Understanding the Threat (UTT) is taking the fight to the Islamic & Marxist Counter-States which are intentionally crushing liberty at every turn.
Prosecutors and police have directly attributed opening cases, prosecuting terrorists, and even locating terrorists on UTT’s training programs.
With Hamas/CAIR consistently after us along with their allies at the Southern Poverty Law Center and the many other Marxist front groups, UTT needs your help.
One thing you can do is to join our FREEDOM 25 Campaign. Agree right now to commit to supporting UTT for $25 a month for one year and help us continue to have the significant impact we are having at the state and local level!
You can also review and share UTT’s many CAPABILITIES to help your community in this war.
UTT will not be silenced. We will continue to speak truth boldly in love about real threats to America, to our communities and to our families.
From all of us on the UTT Team, THANK YOU for your support and prayers.
